Canvas Login to PlayPosit doesn't work as expected

Sometimes the settings for Canvas result in either:
   1. a redirect when you try to access PlayPosit or 
   2. log in as a blank user or an unknown user

This occurs when PlayPosit cannot read the identifying email associated with the Canvas account and is generally caused by a configuration error.

To fix, simply open up the LTI settings for PlayPosit and change the Privacy to Public. Neither anonymous nor the other options will work:
