Analytics 2.0 - new and improved PlayPosit monitoring system.

Analytics 2.0 is available to all PlayPosit premium members or members of a PlayPosit partner institution.

Lesson performance overview:

At the top of Analytics 2.0, you are given an overview of how many students reached each question and a distribution of how your class on a whole understood the concepts tested within the question. Clicking into the question from the bar chart expands the view, providing more details on the question itself and how many students got the question right or wrong. Similarly, hovering over the pie chart for average score and lesson completed status, gives you details on the number of students falling within each category.

Live Student Chat:

If leaving a comment on a student answer is insufficient, you can now initiate a live chat conversation. To learn more, click here!

Individual Student Data:

Clicking the 'edit all' button from the question header, pulls open all of your student's responses so you can scroll down your student list and quickly assign each response the point value it deserves. With Analytics 2.0, we also feed you the time the student spends answering the question - found in the top right of the expanded student response view.

While the "Edit All" button is selected, we replace the lesson overview charts with more fine tuned analytics on the question itself. You will see info like the distribution of answers selected for that question and the average time devoted.

One of the most powerful features of Analytics 2.0 is the ability to export student responses as a Worksheet. Simply navigate to the student's row, hit the triple dots, and select 'export'. This feature is great for Parent Teacher conferences; digital portfolios; to review with the student or give to the student as a review tool

There are four colors that you will see in the monitoring page:

  1. Grey : student has not yet completed the question. You'll also notice a darker grey coloring for question types that require no response (reflective pause, website).
  2. Green: student got the answer correct
  3. Red: student got the answer incorrect
  4. Orange: student has submitted a free text response or explanation that needs to be graded
